THE VICTORIA UNIVERSITY BASKETBALL ACADEMY IS A SPORT SPECIFIC PROGRAM WITH THEORY AND ELITE TRAINING ELEMENTS, UNDERPINNED BY SIS50612 DIPLOMA OF SPORT DEVELOPMENT, DELIVERED BY VICTORIA POLYTECHNIC IN PARTNERSHIP WITH AUSTRALIAN BASKETBALL RESOURCES (ABR) UNDER THE DIRECTION OF ONE OF BASKETBALL’S MOST HIGHLY RESPECTED BASKETBALL PROFESSIONALS, ANDREW GAZE. THIS UNIQUE PROGRAM IMPROVES YOUR ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE, WHILE PROVIDING YOU WITH A QUALITY EDUCATION AND A RANGE OF CAREER OPTIONS AND NETWORKS. YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO VICTORIA UNIVERSITY’S STATE OF THE ART TRAINING FACILITIES AND SERVICES INCLUDING SPORT SPECIFIC STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING, MASSAGE AND OSTEOPATHY TREATMENTS AND SPORT NUTRITION ADVICE.

Training Only Registration
- Opportunity is now provided for interested athletes to join the VU Academy team as a ‘training only’ player.
- You can choose to pay as you go for either 1, 4 or 16 training sessions, joining the elite on-court program specific to the VU Basketball Academy as a ‘training only’ athlete.
- Experience high performance training with VU Basketball Academy athletes, who are taking their basketball to the next level.
- Fast track your on-court progress with the best coaches, highest quality facilities and a focus on basketball excellence.
